About Karen

I have been providing small-business bookkeeping services for more than 25 years. I began doing the books for my husband's contracting business and later helped other businesses get started. In the past, I was the bookkeeper at Color World Printers in Bozeman, Montana and then handled all of the bookkeeping and payroll at Lone Mountain Ranch in Big Sky, Montana.

I specialize in QuickBooks™, which has various versions for specific industries.

Riding Background

Having received my American Riding Instructors Association ARICP Level II Certification to teach Dressage and Hunter Seat, I am presently teaching in Bozeman, Montana. I was recognized in 2009 as one of the Top 50 Riding Instructors in America by the American Riding Instructors Association (ARIA). You can read more about that on my riding instruction web site.

I also own Equestrian Educationals LLC which coordinates Dr. Gerd Heuschmann's U.S. clinics. Dr. Heuschmann is one of the leading biomechanics veterinarians in Germany.

In recent years, I have competed at A shows through second level and have participated in numerous clinics.

Born to a rodeo family in Billings Montana, I worked cows on ranches before college. Since that time I have spent more than 20 years riding in various English disciplines.

18 years of lessons, clinics and shows:

12 years riding jumpers and eventing
6 years in full-time dressage training
